Dados Sobre o Projeto
The beetles were sampled in and around a part of Junkerdalsura nature reserve with an old spruce plantation field, which was "veteranised" during summer 2021. The "veteranisation" aimed to damage the spruce trees so they would die more or less slowly, providing dead wood to the area, and allowing the birch forest naturally occuring in the area to regenerate over time. The beetles were sampled in 2022, one year after "veteranisation", and very many of the spruce trees were already dead.
